Find your collaborators

The find capability showcases video elevator pitches from our seller community to specific buyers in a categorised innovation feed. The software also publishes buyer needs videos to a curated list of sellers with the expertise and products to match those needs. Our recommendation engine will make automated matches and suggestions connecting both sides.

How it works OLD

Initial engagement between buyers and sellers occurs through the exchange of asynchronous video briefs and pitches. With sellers preparing a two-minute introductory video to their business to populate the innovation feed and specific pitch videos in response to buyer needs. Buyers also provide problem statement videos articulating the challenges they face and the context that a seller would need to know to provide a meaningful response.

Forge your relationships

The forge capability lets buyers invite successful sellers to a live conversation on our platform. Handshakr will assist sellers in preparing for that meeting with a series of guides. We also provide a mechanism of scoring and feedback for both parties to close out conversations. Feedback is vital for everyone to improve and move on to other opportunities if unsuccessful. Feedback on sellers is also precious within the buyer organisation, as functional leaders from other departments may look at the same vendor further.

When moving forward together is agreed in principle, many functional leaders struggle with the process involved in buying something within their company. Handshakr provides collaboration features involving key people in both companies, including visibility and oversight to purchasing who don’t normally have visibility at the early stages of discussions between functional leaders and potential suppliers. Our collaboration capability sets out key milestones, crucial stakeholders and the necessary data and collateral that both parties need to bring together to achieve a consensus. Enabling the introduction of further buyer stakeholders into our process is crucial.
